Merge PDF Files

Join two or more PDF files into one document in the order you choose. Add your files, move them up or down, and download the merged PDF. The files are combined inside your browser, so contracts, invoices and certificates are never uploaded to a server.

How to use the Merge PDF Files

  1. Add your PDF files by clicking the drop area or dragging them in.
  2. Use the arrow buttons to set the order. The first file becomes the first pages of the merged PDF.
  3. Remove any file you added by mistake. Files that cannot be read are marked so you can take them out.
  4. Press Merge PDFs and the combined file downloads automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. Merging happens on your device. The files never leave your browser.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not directly. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first, then add the file here. Protected files are flagged in the list.

Will bookmarks and form fields be kept?

All pages and their content are copied. Bookmarks and some interactive form features may not carry over to the merged file.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no fixed limit, but very large files need a lot of memory. If the page slows down, merge fewer files at a time.

Can I change the order after adding files?

Yes. Use the up and down arrows next to each file before you press Merge PDFs.
